PROFILE

Doctor Jean-Frédéric Anken began his education in Préverenges, before continuing in Morges. He studied at the Lausanne school of medicine, where he obtained his degree in 2005.

After two years at Morges hospital, initially on a surgical rotation, and then in internal medicine, he went to CHUV (Vaudois University Hospital) to join the francophone training programme in general internal medicine (internal medicine, neurology, dermatology, ENT).

He completed his training at the university polyclinic in order to further refine his knowledge of general internal medicine.

In 2011, he became a fully-qualified general internal medicine specialist and joined his father in his medical practice in Préverenges.

PROFILE

Doctor Jean-François Anken was born in Morges, where he began his education before going on to study at the Lausanne Gymnase (Swiss Matura diploma).

He was then enrolled into the University of Lausanne where he completed his medical education. He was awarded his university degree in 1972.

He undertook generalist training, with rotations in internal medicine at CHUV (Vaudois University Hospital) and the Lausanne university polyclinic, as well as rotations in surgery and obstetrics & gynaecology at Morges Hospital. He also completed rotations in dermatology, ENT and ophthalmology.

He opened his GP practice in Préverenges in April 1979.
